Introducing Spina Bifida Hydrocephalus Scotland (SBH Scotland)

For over 57 years, Spina Bifida Hydrocephalus (SBH) Scotland has been a rock, providing a lifetime commitment of specialist support and information to all those affected by these complex conditions.

Our services are available, free of charge, to over 4,000 children, young people and adults in Scotland through a helpline, workshops, individual and family support, home and hospital visits, youth clubs, health care clinics, 1-2-1 key workers, an accessible holiday cottage and respite. With a dedicated clinical and family support team and a purpose-built family support centre, SBH Scotland aims to ensure that all those affected by the disabilities live the highest quality of life possible. We are the only charity in Scotland with a remit to support these conditions specifically and this makes us a lifeline for many families.

Your donations will make a bigger impact than you could imagine. With only a small amount of statutory funding, each year we need to raise over £1.4 million and events like ‘A Question of Burns’ remain crucial for our fundraising. This in turn allows us to grow the dedicated services we offer across Scotland, and we thank you for your generous support today. THANK YOU!
